Karim Traidia
President of the Jury
Algerian director and screenwriter residing in the Netherlands. He studied sociology in Paris and film at the NFTVA Academy in Amsterdam. His graduation film won international awards. His first feature film, The Polish Bride, was selected for the Oscars and the Golden Globes and was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. He has since directed other notable works such as Les Promoteurs de la vérité, Chronologie de mon village, and Gandhi, l’assassinat.
He contributes to the development of cinematic talent through workshops and masterclasses in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He has also served as a consultant for several funds and festivals (Doha Institute, SANAD Abu Dhabi), participated in international juries, and currently serves as the programmer for the Maghreb Film Festival in Haarlem.
Octavio Fraga Guerra
Cuban director and journalist, graduate of the Higher Institute of Arts in Havana, specializing in audiovisual communication. He became known in Madrid through a support program for Ibero-American documentary cinema. He has contributed to media platforms such as Cubaninformación, directed documentaries and television programs, led the magazines Jazz Plaza and Cubadisca, and launched Diálogos en Reverso for cinematic and journalistic debate.
He continues to serve as an expert on Cuban cinema, combining film criticism with cultural reflection, while maintaining his ideological and emotional connection to Cuba despite residing in Spain.

Rocco Calandriello
Renowned Italian director and producer, graduate of the University of Naples, specializing in urban and cultural marketing, followed by cultural management and film production. In 1999, he founded the Lucania Film Festival and has overseen thousands of films. He created the production company Namavista Film and served as president of the Lucania Film Commission between 2022 and 2023. He has directed major projects such as Matera 2019 and supervised the transformation of the historic center of Pisticci into TILT for innovation and creativity.
Alongside his teaching and consultancy activities in cinema, he views film as a tool for cultural and social development, balancing artistic vision with production strategy.
